Hmmmm. Given the fact that it is now May 4, and this is my first post of the month, I guess I have already blown my goal of posting every day in May. To be honest, it's a relief. Now the pressure is off and I can pretty much just take the whole month off at this point, which is a good thing because all this blogging was really eating in to my TV time. Just last week, for example, I missed a really great old Happy Days on TV Land, where Fonzie becomes Joanie's dance marathon partner. Yuks ensue.
In other news, I am rather shocked and stunned--as you no doubt will be as well--to discover that so far I have had a less-than-overwhelming response to my job posting for a full-time masseuse for myself. Actually, to be honest, I've received no applications whatsoever.. So, I have decided to "sweeten the pot," as it were. Starting with any applications received today, the lucky person hired will now--in a total reversal of the original job offer--not have to pay me to do the massages. Yes, that's right. You read correctly. The lucky job recipient will now be able to massage me, whenever on the job, without having to pay me first for the privilege. I know this is exciting news, so act now while you still have a chance.
